When you create an account via Google OAuth or email magic link, we collect:

• A profile picture URL (if provided by your OAuth provider)

2.2 Riot Games Account Information

If you choose to link your League of Legends account, we collect:

• Your Riot Games summoner name and region (PUUID, summoner ID)
• Champion mastery data for eligible champions
• Your Riot account profile icon and account ID

This data is fetched directly from the Riot Games API using your authorization and is used solely to power the core features of our platform.

2.3 User-Generated Content

Any content you voluntarily upload or submit, including champion combo videos, descriptions, input steps (key sequences), difficulty ratings, tags, and comments, is collected and stored.

2.4 Log Data

Like most websites, we automatically collect certain information when you visit. This may include:

• Internet Protocol (IP) address
• Browser type and version
• Operating system
• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Referring / exit pages
• Date and time stamps
• Clickstream data

This information is not linked to anything personally identifiable and is used for analyzing trends, administering the site, and gathering aggregate demographic information.

2.5 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

4. Third-Party Services

LoL Combo relies on several third-party services to operate. Each service processes data in accordance with its own privacy policy:

• Resend - used to send transactional emails (e.g., magic links). Your email address is shared with Resend solely for delivery purposes. See https://resend.com/privacy

• PostgreSQL Database Provider - your account data, uploaded combos, and preferences are stored in a managed PostgreSQL database. Our provider processes data solely on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).
• Hosting Provider - the platform is hosted by a cloud infrastructure provider that processes log data and serves static assets. They act as a data processor under our instructions.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party. We only share data with the services listed above to the extent necessary to operate the platform.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We may disclose your personal information in the following circumstances:

• Public content. Your uploaded combos, summoner name (if linked), and profile information are publicly visible to all visitors by design. This is a core feature of the platform.
• Service providers. We share data with third-party providers (listed in Section 4) who process data on our behalf. These providers are contractually bound to keep your information confidential.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental regulation.
• Business transfers. In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. You will be notified via email or a prominent notice on the platform.
• With your consent. We may share information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you the service. Specifically:

• Account data is retained until you delete your account or request deletion
• Uploaded combos and associated content are retained until you delete them or close your account
• Log data is retained for a maximum of 12 months for analytics and security purposes
• Riot Games account linkage data is retained until you unlink your account or request removal

When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it in accordance with our data retention schedule.

7. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA / Other)

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Access and Portability

You may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. You may also request a machine-readable copy for transfer to another service.

Correction

You may request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete personal information. Most account details can be updated directly through your profile settings.

Deletion

You may request that we delete your personal information. Note that content you have made public (e.g., combos, comments) may remain visible in an anonymised form after account deletion to preserve the integrity of the platform.

Restriction and Objection

You may request that we restrict processing of your data or object to processing for direct marketing purposes. We will honour such requests where required by applicable law.

Withdrawal of Consent

Where we rely on your consent to process data (e.g., linking your Riot account), you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise any of the above rights, please contact us using the information in Section 11. We will respond to your request within the timeframe required by applicable law (usually 30 days). We may need to verify your identity before processing your request.

8. Notice for California Residents (CCPA)

This section applies solely to residents of the State of California. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have additional rights regarding your personal information.

Sales of Personal Information

We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. In the preceding twelve (12) months, we have not sold any personal information.

Exercising Your CCPA Rights

To exercise your CCPA rights, please submit a verifiable consumer request by contacting us using the information in Section 11. Only you, or a person registered with the California Secretary of State that you authorise, may make a verifiable consumer request. We will respond within 45 days.

9. Children's Privacy

LoL Combo is not directed at individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately. We will take steps to remove that information from our servers.

League of Legends is rated T for Teen by the ESRB. In accordance with Riot Games' terms of service, you must be at least 13 years of age to play League of Legends and at least 18 (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to link a Riot account to third-party services.

10. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These include:

• Encryption in transit via HTTPS / TLS for all communications
• Encryption at rest for sensitive data stored in the database
• Regular security reviews and dependency updates
• Access controls restricting internal access to personal data

However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date at the top. For material changes, we will provide a more prominent notice (such as an email notification).
